Obituary of Pauline Lambe

LAMBE; Gloria “Pauline”

Passed away peacefully with family by her side, at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, on June 2, 2023.  Gloria "Pauline" Lambe (née Armstong), in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late George Lambe.  Loving mother of Carol English, and the late Robert Lambe. Grandmother of Sarah Lambe.  Pauline is survived by many nieces and nephews and is predeceased by her siblings Roger Armstrong (Joyce), Ruth Shaughnessy (Peter), and James Armstrong (Mary).

Pauline grew up on a farm near the buckhorn area. Pauline worked for Colonial Weaving, making the outer coverings for electrical cords, then she worked for General Electric, war plant, wiring plane engines during the war. Pauline met George Reginald Owen Lambe and were married March 28 1947.  They had 2 children Carol and Robert, and 1 grandchild Sarah.
