Wayne Irwin Jason StockdaleTony Traynor Scott WildmanSteven StockdaleMark Bendzsa On August 26, 1913, CLARENCE WELLINGTON STOCKDALE was born in Harvey Twp., son of the late WILLIAM JOHN STOCKDALE & EMMA JANE HARRISON. Following school, Clarence remained on the farm in Harvey Twp. helping his father until 1938 when his dad helped him set up his own farm in the same area. On Nov. 20, 1939 he married ETHEL MARGARET DELLA OLIVER in Bobcaygeon. In 1952 they sold the Harvey Twp. farm and purchased a farm in Smith Twp. where they remained until 1958 when they relocated to the Norwood area. In 1983 he retired to Norwood but continued to help his son farm for several years. Clarence spent his entire life farming; an occupation that didna??t leave much time for any other activities. He did enjoy, however, a couple trips to the west coast and a trip to Florida. He was also a member of the United Church. Clarence liked to work with his horses, especially in the winter, when he logged in the bush. He really enjoyed the time he spent taking his family on winter sleigh rides.
