HALLIDAY, Brian
Passed away at AgeCare West Williams, Kitchener, on July 5, 2024. Brian Halliday of Kitchener Ontario, formerly of Apsley, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Verna Halliday. Loving father of Kelda Halliday, Laurie Halliday and Kimberley Woods (Gord), stepdaughters Connie Chomicki, Cathy MacLean (Doug) and stepsons John Gibbings (Bonnie), and Paul Gibbings (Ellen). Brian will be missed by his grandchildren Melinda Brito (Gary), James Rego (Sarah), Matthew Pellerin, Jennifer Hall (Darryl) and his great grandchildren Sophia Brito, Kayden Rego, Cohen Rego, and Hunter Hall. Brian is survived by his sisters Daisy Whitmore, Judith Voisin (David), Mina Coons (Jim), brother-in-law Elmer Lean and many nieces and nephews. Brian is predeceased by his parents Robert and Janet Halliday, sister Elizabeth Lean and brother Daniel Halliday, sister-in-law Sylvia Halliday, brothers in law Hubert Baumhour, Chuck Benns, Hazen Whitmore and step son-in-law Vite Chomicki. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES-LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 QUEEN STREET, on Tuesday July 9 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 7:00PM-9:00PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 10, at 11:00AM at the Apsley Community Church, with reception to follow in the church hall. Interment, Apsley Union Cemetery.
