Obituary of FRANCIS TIMOTHY CORKERY

CORKERY, FRANCIS TIMOTHY (FRANK) It is with great sadness that the family annouces the death of Frank Timothy Corkery of Lakefield on Friday, September 18, 2003 at Palliative Care, P.R.H.C., after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Shirley (Criger) for 24 years. Devoted father of Rael at home and Rosa of Toronto and grandfather of Yurni's daughter Tatyana and Rosa's son Jameel. Son of Timothy Corkery and Marguerite (O'Donnell). Dear brother of Noreen and Gerard (Marsha) all of Peterborough. Friends are invited to call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield, on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Parish prayers will be held at 3:30 pm on Sunday at Hendren's. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Reid St., Lakefield on Monday, September 22, 2003 at 11:00 am. Father Damian Smullen officiating. Family inurnment in the perennial garden he developed at St. Mary's Cemetery, Young's Point at a later date.
