Obituary of KATIE ELIZABETH WELTON

WELTON KATIE ELIZABETH It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Katie Welton (Moore) of Apsley, formerly of Lindsay, at Ross Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, November 5th, 2003 in her 71st year after a brief battle with cancer. Katie was the beloved wife of Lyle (1996) and loving mother of Victor (Sue) of Kingston, Greg ( Vicki) of Lindsay, Christina (Andre Forget) of Mississauga, Lawrence of Ottawa and Ian (Bonnie) of Pembroke. Cherished grandmother of Lanny, Lindsay, Jessica, Cody, Levi, Gabrielle, Christine, Jamie and Wills. Fondly rememberd by many extended family members and friends. She was the daughter of the late Percy and Ethel Moore and is survived by brothers Richard of Brampton, Percy (Louise) of Pembroke and sister Jean (Jack O'Brien) of Wawa. In keeping with Katie's wishes, cremation will take place after a private family viewing. A memorial service will be held at the Trinity United Church, Apsley on Saturday, November 8, 2003 at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Peter Robinsoon officiating. Reception to follow. The family wishes to express their gratitude to so many people who helped us through this difficult time. We thank you all.
