Obituary of Donald Harold GOODE

GOODE: Donald Harold Passed away at P.R.H.C. Palliative Care on Saturday November 13, 2004 after a short time with cancer. Former owner of the Lakefield Creamery & Dairy for 15 years and worked at the Village of Lakefield Water Treatment Plant for 10 years. Don was born in Port Perry July 6, 1927 and was raised and educated in Orono, ON. Survived by his wife Margaret (Tink) for 53 years. Also survived by his sons Paul (Jan), and David (Barbara) and his grandchildren Bryan (Shawna), Leslie, Steven and Ian and his great granddaughter Hannah Marie. Remembered by his sisters Ruth Grady, June McMullen and Edna Taylor. Brother-in-law of Gwen and Mabel Goode, Kathleen and Irvine Harrell and Marion and William Dadson. Predeceased by his brothers Ray, Bruce and Robert. Friends may call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield, on Tuesday November 16th, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Memorial service will be held at the Lakefield United Church on Wednesday November 17th, 2004 at 2:00 PM.
