HASTIE, DAVID S. Peacefully after a valiant fight at Extendicare - Lakefield on Wednesday, August 31, 2005, David Hastie of Lakefield in his 84th year. David will be fondly remembered as a very dedicated husband and father. Loved and missed by his lifelong mate of 55 years, Nancy. Remembered by his children Doug Hastie (Ann) of Oshawa, Rhonda MacDonald (Rod) of Peterborough and Georgina Kok (Rick) of Bowmanville. Grandpa will be missed by Erinn Suadi (Dave), Jeanine Hastie, Brandon Hastie (Melissa), Joel Luttrell, Darren Kok, Amanda Kok and great grandson Jacob Luttrell. Also missed by his sister Sheila Kerr (Doug) of Whitby. Predeceased by his parents Alexander & Ann Hastie, son Roderick (1952) and sister Ray Lloyd. Friends are invited to call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield on Friday, Sept. 2 from 7-9:00 p.m. Memorial Service in the Hendren Chapel on Saturday, Sept. 3 at 11:00 a.m. If so desired memorial donations to Lakefield Animal Welfare Society or the Lakefield Extendicare Activity Program would be appreciated by the family.
