Seeing a name in the Courier Press brought back memories of Rob when he attended W.D.S.S. He had a wonderful smile, sense of humour and a twinkle in his eye that went on forever. Having not seen his for many years he has been in thought. I cherish the time we had with him and his memory lives on. Very sorry for you loss. Joanne Stevenson

I knew Rob through my good friend Lee Trotter. Rob was always the life of the party and was always sporting a smile. I can still remember his laugh, what a laugh it was. I have very fond memories of him from the short while that I knew him. He will be in my memories for life. My deepest sympathies for Rob's family & friends, he will be greatly missed.

Sending my heartfelt sorrow on the loss of your family member, Rob, whom I met every so often while working up in Apsley. Indeed, a vibrant and thoughtful person. And always sporting a smile!

Wow, I don't remember a time that I didn't know Rob. When we hooked up after childhood in our 20's I just couldn't believe how much fun he was. His personality was larger then life as well as his stature. I hadn't been in close contact with Rob the last few years, but I was very sadden to hear the news of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his close and extended family. I will miss him deeply.

Rob never was without a smile all the time we were growing up together. I remember Rob and Roy and Trevor as being a threesome at school. You will be remembered. Kathleen and Steve

Our deepest sympathies to all of you. Laurie and Reg, it was through you that we met Rob. Although we didn't know him well, his sense of fun and love of life came through at each encounter. He first came into our lives through Heron's End, as a chef (that wicked potatoe salad), greeter and wonderful conversationalist. We so enjoyed sharing some great food, friends and laughter at Cherith and Chris's wedding two weeks ago. Our thoughts are with you all . Apsley won't be quite the same.
