Obituary of Roger ALLEN

ALLEN: Roger Passed away at the Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto on Tuesday April 11th, 2006. Roger Allen of R.R. #3 Lakefield in his sixty-third year. Sadly missed by his wife Catherine and his children Amanda Batek (Tony) of Mississauga and Christopher Allen (Sarah) of Vancouver. Grandpa is remembered by Andrew and Alexander. Roger is also sadly missed by his brother Peter (Mary) in the U.K and his sister Audrey in the U.S. and their families. He is remembered fondly by work mates, friends, and neighbours in Canada, Saudi Arabia, United States, United Kingdom, and Ireland. He loved cooking, boating, and especially his wonderful woodworking. A funeral service will be held from the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, Lakefield on Saturday April 15th, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association and Habitat for Humanity as expressions of sympathy.
