I have just seen the Lives Lived article in the Globe. My parents, Dusty and Irene Miller (now both deceased) were friends of the Minshalls. I remember as a child accompanying them to Minshalet (sp?). It was a memorable visit, and there is still a picture of me with Billy in my photo album. My condolences to the family and especially to Lloyd on the loss of his soulmate.

Grandpa, I'm sorry that you had to lose your one and only true love. You two always gave me hope that there is such a thing as soul mates. You both inspired me in many ways to grow as a person. I love you and I miss and love Grandma. You are the most classy man I've ever met. My prayers are with you.

Dear, sweet Bertha brightened the life of every single person who walked through the doors of Parkside School in East York. I was privileged to teach there, and was the beneficiary of her wisdom and affection. May she rest in peace.
