Obituary of Elmer Stronge

STRONGE: Elmer Peacefully, surrounded by family, at the P.R.H.C., on Monday June 7th, 2010, in his 86th year. Predeceased by his wife Irene (Buss) and brother Bill. Cherished father of Kevin (Nancy) and Paulette (Brian). Beloved Grandpa of Alli, Krista (Travis), Megan (Adam) and Naomi (Lee). Proud Great-Grandpa to Reese, Riley, Ella and Fiona. Survived by his brother Gordon (Jean) and sister Violet. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and good friends. Elmer will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his zest for life and love of family. Friends and family may visit at Donwood United Church, 737 Donwood Dr., Peterborough on Thursday June 10, 2010 from 11:00 - 1:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Elmer's Life at 1:00 PM. Rev. Beverly Sumbler officiating. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the P.R.H.C. Foundation or the Carmel United Church Memorial Fund as expressions of sympathy.
