MANNING, Clarence ""Buck"" Wilfred (WWII Navy Veteran) Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with family by his side at the P.R.H.C., Palliative Care on Tuesday, November 16, 2010. Buck Manning of R.R. 4, Peterborough in his 84th year. Beloved husband of 64 years to Mildred Shirley (Whatman). Loving father of Randy (Gail), Donald (Gloria), Rick (Roseanne), Debbie Wagar (Don), Cathy Clysdale (Doug) and Susan Lech (Karl). Survived by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings Eileen Witt, Gord Manning (Annette), Sylvia Larsen and Bette Dutch (Max), brother-in-law Ken Cherry and by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by infant daughter Brenda Lorraine, sisters Dorothy Manning and Marg Cherry, brother Leonard, parents Wilford Leonard Manning and Vera (Fitzgerald) and by his grandfather Clarence Fitzgerald. Private family arrangements have been entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL.
