Obituary of Gerald Todd
TODD, Gerald Edmund (Gerry) - Passed away suddenly after a valiant and courageous struggle with illness at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday April 17, 2011. Gerry's career has included time with the Armed Forces, CGE, and Scouting. He enjoyed back country camping, fishing, hunting, archery, canoe instructing, guiding, paddle making and most of all, paddling his canoe. He recently held the post of Sergeant at Arms at the Lakefield Legion. Gerry is loved and missed by his wife Shirley Honig-Todd of R.R. #2 Lakefield. Also missed by his daughter Nicole Todd (Britton Lindop) of Salem and grandchildren Jack & Cole. Lovingly remembered by his step-children Cyndi Kulla (Vic) of Peterborough, Eric Honig (Brenda) of Barrie and his step-grandchildren Jake, Holly, Ryan and Kayla. Also remembered by his brother Wayne Todd (Elizabeth) of Fraserville and Aunts Elsie Able and Madeleine Johnston. Predeceased by his parents Joseph & Catherine. Also missed by many relatives and friends, including countless individuals whom he introduced to the wilderness canoe travel experience. A private Celebration of Gerry's Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to L.A.W.S. or Kingston General Hospital - ICU as expressions of sympathy.
