I am grateful to know that Bobby had good friends when he needed them.As my sister has already written, we have many good memories of visiting at Grandma Post's house in Havelock with all the cousins, aunts and uncles there. Those were wonderful times, and Bob was a treasured part of those visits. As our grandmother, aunts and uncles passed away, we lost touch with each other, including Bob whom we always knew as Bobby. I know that he had difficult times in his life, but thankfully had good friends to be with him. I know that my sister, Patti, and I would be grateful if our condolences were shared with those wonderful friends who took care of him and were there for him. Roberta Post

I was very sorry to learn recently of my cousin, Bobby's, death. Many years ago, our extended family would meet at our grandmother’s house in Havelock, on George Street. The house is gone now, but many memories remain of when all the cousins and our parents would gather there during happier times. Circumstances, and life’s turns and twists caused many of us to lose touch and drift apart, and of course most of our family has passed away, but I was very sorry to learn that Bobby had suffered a tragic accident, and I know he already had difficult struggles in his life. Reading here about the care he received from the Pollocks and in particular, from his friend Bruce Pollock, as well as the friendship he also had with Patti Drake, I’m thankful that my cousin had such good people around him, when his family wasn’t. So I wish to express my condolences for the loss of Bob, their dear friend, and thank them for their care and love. I know my grandmother, and my aunt would have been very grateful. I came into Bob's life at a very difficult time, he had just lost his best friend of many years. I knew that it would not be an easy task to get him to trust and open up to me. Fourtunatly as the time went on and our visits more frequent the wall he had built began to crumble. I was lucky to have had the little time that we did have and enjoyed our chats and getting to know Bob very much. Thank you Kelly for giving me the opportunity to be a small part of Bob's life. Rest in Peace Bob
