PARMALEE, Robert David

Bob was born in Havelock in and did well in school. He had a loving Mom and Bob was devastated when she passed. Bob loved the outdoors, music and dogs. Bob ‘s life was challenged by his illness of alcoholism and he fell upon hard times. Following a tragic accident, without family around to support Bob , he was helped for many years by members of the Pollock family, notably, the late Bruce Pollock who dutifully cared for Bob since the 1980’s . When he stopped drinking, Bob started his life over and tried his best to make amends by helping in his own apartment building and volunteering at Moorelands Camp. Thanks to the amazing staff at Burnbrae Gardens who cared for Bob for the last 15 years. Much gratitude to his part time care giver, Patti Drake who provided Bob with visits that helped his quality of life over the last year. Arrangements entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL. Bob has been cremated and buried at Maplegrove Cemetery, Havelock.
