Passed away peacefully at Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Saturday August 9, 2014. Perry Whitney of R.R. 3, Havelock (Sama Park) in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Anne (nee Van Volkenburg). Loving father of Kelly-Anne Whitney (Chris Luzzi), Perry Dean (Keli) and Lana Elizabeth Kloosterman (David). Cherished Grandpa of Samantha, Jesse, Meaghan, Hillary, Chase, Riley, Alex, Andrew (A.J.) and Sophie. Dear son of Velieta Wannamaker (Bob Livings) and remembered fondly by his siblings Gene Wannamaker (Dawn), John Wannamaker (Carolyn), Lianne Myers (Kenton), Jeffrey Wannamaker (Suzanne), Pat Emery (Bob) and Wayne Wannamaker. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Elmer Whitney. Relatives and friends are invited to the Havelock United Church on Wednesday August 13, 2014 at 2:00 PM for a Masonic Lodge Service followed immediately by the Funeral Service, Reverend David Estabrooks officiating. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery, Havelock. Memorial donations may be made to the Bridge Hospice, Warkworth or to the Crohns and Colitis Canada as expressions of sympathy.
