SAYERS, William “Bill” Co-Owner/Operator of Sayers Foodland Passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday August 6, 2014. Bill Sayers of Apsley in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Irene (nee Johnson). Dad will always be loved and remembered by Brian (Diane) of Apsley, Daniel (Marilyn) of Gooderham, James (Barbara) of Pickering and Gary (Dianne) of Scarborough. Cherished grandpa of Richard (Jenn), Barbara (Paul), Jeffrey (Ashley), Andrew (Caitlin) and Christopher and great grandpa of William, Katrina, Landon, Connor, Emma, Molly, Hayden, Halle, Chase, Trent and Thea. Dear brother of Herbert (late Ann), Barbara Harvey (Al), Allan (Gloria), Ronald (Bernice). Also remembered by his step-children Lillian (Mike), Linda (Karl), Gordon (Joanne), Delores (Tim), Druscilla (Doug), Byron (Jean), Todd (Brenda), Lauralee (Matt) and many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife Grace (nee Blencowe) and brother Victor (Mary). Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made the the Canadian Cancer Society.
