Obituary of Isobel Jean Ward

WARD, Isobel Jean Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday, September 20, 2014. Jean Ward (nee Williams) of Bobcaygeon, formerly of Toronto, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of John William Ward. Loving mother of Carol Irving, David and Jack Ward. Dear grandmother of Beatrice Irving. Dear sister of Peggy (Ted) Topping and sister-in-law of Marguerite Ward. Predeceased by her parents Harold Williams and Annie Penrose and sister Evelyn. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Jean was a talented musician and craftsperson, and an enthusiastic volunteer at the Boyd Heritage Museum, McMichael Gallery and York University Retirees Association. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, MONK CHAPEL on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at Monk Chapel on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 2:30 PM. A reception will follow at the funeral home. Interment York Cemetery,Toronto, Friday, September 26, 2014 at 2:30 PM.
