Obituary of Jane Violet Templeman

TEMPLEMAN: Jane Jane Templeman passed away on Saturday, September 27th, 2014 at Ross Memorial Hospital at the age of 83. Jane was born on September 15th, 1931 in Peterborough, England, the only daughter of William and Alice Stongebridge. After the death of her Mother, her Father remarried and they had two sons, Richard who married Petrea and lives in England, Jeremy who married Edie and lives in Switzerland. From her first marriage, Jane had a son, Peter, an artist, living in Toronto. With her second husband Don, they had a son John, a successful businessman and the father of her lovely grandchildren, Andrew and Jessica. Jane loved to travel. She toured Australia for a year in the early fifties, spent many wonderful holidays in Europe, the Caribbean and the U.S. In spite of a demanding career, raising her boys and looking after Don, she still managed to play a lot of golf. She enjoyed life to the fullest and as the title of her favourite songs states “I Did It My Way”. Arrangements entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, MONK CHAPEL, 6 Helen St., Bobcaygeon. A family interment will be held at Glen Oaks, Oakville. Jane asked that if you wish, a donation to your favourite charity would be appreciated.
