After just laying my own husband to rest I was browsing through Hendren Obituaries and was shocked to come across a good friend that goes back to 1973 ! Bruce sold us our property on White Lake (aka Dummer Lake). We've thought about Bruce many times and remembered Bruce only "'for the good times". When purchasing the property, my husband Jim, had said to Bruce," I'd love to get a hold of a cedar strip boat, have any ideas Bruce?" Bruce said, "I'll have one at your dock the day you take possession of the cottage". Can you believe it less than a month later when we arrived at the cottage, I said to Jim..."go & look at the dock"...there was the cedar boat that Bruce promised he would get for Jim.
