Obituary of John Hubert Lloyd Treharne

TREHARNE: John Hubert Lloyd Passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday December 10, 2014 at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay. John Treharne of Bobcaygeon in his 86th year. John was born on December 19th, 1928 in England to parents John Fitzmayer and Violet Jones and immigrated to Canada in 1956. John loved to work on the sets and perform some acting with Stage Center Productions in Scarborough and in 1994, after 38 years with Federal Pioneer Electric, he retired to Bobcaygeon. Loved and missed by his wife of 59 years, Jane (Jean) Kendall. Loving father of Gary Treharne (Pam), Linda Treharne and Kevin Treharne (Peggy), all of Pickering. Also remembered by his grandchildren Sarah, Aaron, Grant and Dylan. Survived by his sister Edith Treharne of California and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Thelma Treharne, Dorothy Goulding and Joyce Morgan and by his brother Gerald Treharne. A funeral service will be held on Friday December 19, 2014 at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES - MONK CHAPEL, 6 Helen St., Bobcaygeon at 1:00 PM. Visitation one hour prior to the service. A reception will follow at the funeral home. Cremation. Memorial donations may be made to the Sunshine Foundation of Canada or the Knox Presbyterian Church, Bobcaygeon as expressions of sympathy.
