To the "Hart" & "Quast" families - my deepest sympathy on the passing of your Mom. Pat & I were child hood friends, living next door to each other for many years on Bolivar St., attending the same schools and church together. Pat was also my matron of honor at my wedding in '63. My thoughts & prayers are with you today as you celebrate her life. Liz Forestell(Courneyea)

Mike, Julie and family and Rob:
Our sincere sympathy in the loss of your Mother. She was a valued friend and a neighbour for many years and we had many good times together.
Your Mom and I had a wonderful long conversation on the telephone a few weeks ago and it was nice to hear her voice. We reminisced and had some good laughs.
You will be missed dear friend.
Love Noreen, Lynn and Dan

We are deeply saddened by your loss. We have fond memories of the times we spent with Pat and Harold. A trip to their wilderness getaway left us with many memories of the lifestyle they shared so happily. They say that at the end of a lifetime all we have are our memories to share and leave behind for others. We will always treasure those moments and reflect on those times that we were able to share with Pat.
Wishing all of you the kindest wishes during this time of sadness. Our thoughts and prayers are with you..

Such sad news. Pat was so kind to everyone she met. She had a warm soul and was loved by so many. She and Harold where so kind and caring for members in my family. I remember how wonderful they were to my elderly parents and to my daughter Jessica. Pat promoted Jessica in her early days as an RMT and they both helped in every way possible. She will be sadly missed by everyone in our little community. I hope she has reunited with her ever love Harold (another kind soul).

I am so sorry and shocked to hear of Pat's passing. She was a roommate of my Mother's while in the PRHC. My mother certainly missed her happy, cheerful demeanour when she was transferred to the Rehab floor of the hospital. I stopped and visited her in the Rehab prior to leaving Peterborough to return to my home up north. I was so hoping that she was through with her rehab and able to go home.
From the short time I knew your mother I was impressed with her willingness to help others and her very caring spirit.
She is someone who will be truly missed by her family and community. Treasure your memories of her that will keep her forever in your hearts.
Sincerely, Debbie Usher

Pat served as an inspiration for my entire family. Her courage and her drive were legendary. She could organize anything, anywhere, anyone. My children are so very sad to have lost their "Grandma Pat". My husband, who lost his dad Harold, (Pat's husband) two years ago, felt there was such a large piece of his father still alive in Pat is now grieving her loss, and I feel I have lost a very precious friend. I just know if there is a heaven, Pat is busy getting it better organized!! When Pat learned she would not recover and death was imminent, she began organizing her passing. Giving notes as to where her clothes she be donated, ensuring her library book would be returned, organizing all the food bank information to be passed along to the next person, ensuring every last detail was taken care of and once she completed all the organizing, she said her goodbyes to her treasured family and friends and quickly made her way off to Harold's waiting arms. Farewell Apsely's firecracker!
