Obituary of Arlene Pearl Latto
LATTO: ARLENE PEARL
JULY 25, 1939 – FEBRUARY 13, 2015
Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Arlene was born in Toronto, Ontario to Leonard and Elva Attenborough. She married the love of her life, Allan Latto on September 5, 1959. They made Bobcaygeon their home for 45 years. Allan and Arlene loved to travel to Rome, Alaska and the Caribbean. They wintered in Florida, where they made many lasting friendships.
Arlene loved to be with her family. The highlight of her life shifted from her children to her precious grandchildren when they were born. She was a compassionate, outgoing, kind and caring friend. Arlene was a talented painter, pianist and gardener. She was an accomplished amazing cook who was known for her decadent desserts.
Arlene will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 55 years, Allan, son Stephen (Donna), daughter Linda (Greg), grandchildren Marina (Mark), Ben, Emma and Krista. She was predeceased by her parents Leonard and Elva Attenborough and sister Joanie.
A private family service has taken place and a Memorial Tribute will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Hendren Funeral Homes, Monk Chapel, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Canada.
