Obituary of Glenford "Joe" Coons

COONS, Glenford “Joe” Of Lakefield in his 74th year. Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C. after a courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday March 8, 2015. Joe was a Class 'A' Mechanic, Owner of Cedar Circle Sawmill, Canadian Dirt Track Champion, and an avid hunter. Loved and missed by his daughter Stacy Krystowsky (Shawn) of Alberta and son Graham Coons (Tara) of Lakefield. “Grandpa Joe” will be fondly remembered by Shaelyn and Sawyer Krystowsky and Bella and Grayson Coons. Dear brother of Myrna McIlmoyle (Bob), Grace Sharpe (Jim), Gwen Finley and Neil Coons and brother-in-law of Anita Coons. Also remembered by Karren Graham. Predeceased by his parents Audrey and Nelson Coons and brother Harley Coons. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Joe’s life will be held at The R.C.L., Br. #77, Lakefield on Friday March 27, 2015 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM.
