I began working with Jim in 1987. Jim gave many young people opportunities, responsibilities and authority that other employers were reluctant to. It was a great time for many of us working under Jim's direction. I recall him sharing stories on long drives across the province visiting prospective customers. He was a man of deep integrity and he knew the value of having a good time along the way. Rest well dear sir.

In the short time that I knew Jim, through the KWG, I witnessed a man who clearly cared about others. He worked hard, and was respected by all who surrounded him. My sympathies go out to Jim's family.

Jim Knight gave me my start in the field of Automation Engineering back in 1986, hiring me for Solar Computers as a green-as-grass graduate. He was a great guy to work for/with. I have tremendous respect for the man. Miss ya Jim.

Our deepest sympathies to Sherry and all family members. Jim was an amazing man who lit up a room when he was in it. His giving and caring nature exuded from his body effortlessly. His love poured out in many ways and all who knew him were positively affected by him. You could tell he loved on his family with every fibre of his being and he even made his friends feel like family. Jim could make you laugh one minute, thought provoking the next and then empowered all in the same conversation! Jim made a lasting impression on all of us and especially on our daughter Hayley. I am sure everyone who knew him felt better about life after being around him. What a gift Jim was to this world just as I believe he will be where he is resting now. We feel honored and blessed to have been apart of his life. Thank you Jim for being who you were when you were with us. God has great plans in store for you and I am confident you will be just as uplifting there as you were here.

There are no words to describe the hole in my heart over the loss of my only sibling and big brother. I have know him for almost 67 years and have nothing but respect for what he has accomplished in his life, not only was he a great man but he had the most loving and beautiful wife Sherry, four wonderful children that have been there through it all and have supported their mom. My heart goes out to them and thank you for being there.
