May I also extend my sympathies to the Kidd family in this time of loss, and in particular to Bruce, a friend from childhood. Winnie and Orville Kidd were numbered amongst the wonderful parents of our generation, and Orville was gone far too young. Winnie's warmth, kindness and humour, and her interest and delight in people and life, have made her a treasure in the community. Any day that included an encounter with Winnie could be counted a very good day. She will be greatly missed.
