DELAHEY, Ernest Roy “Roy” Passed away at the P.R.H.C. on Saturday October 24, 2015. Roy Delahey of Peterborough in his 86th year. Husband of the late Edith Delahey. Cherished father of Brenda Boekhoudt of Ennismore, Susan Morton (Brad) of Peterborough, Chris Delahey (Trudy) of Peterborough, Brian Delahey (Rose) of Omemee, and Heather Jones (Terry) of Cavan. Beloved grandfather of Tyler, Aaron (Jeanette), Jeremy, Tanya (Jordan), Craig (Rachel), Steffanie (Andy), Mike, Kevin, Cody, Connor and great-grandfather of Kyle, Kayla, Tristin, Destiney, Nolan and Declan. Also survived by his brothers Bob Delahey (Marion), Harvey Delahey (Carol), brothers-in-law Art Hutchinson (Marj), Bill Hutchinson (Jean), Chuck Hutchinson (Rita), Don Hutchinson (Louise), sisters-in-law Stella Gillespie (Tom), and Della Trude (Bob). Predeceased by his parents Harold and Viola Delahey, sister Shirley Smith (Bert), and brother Keith Delahey. Relatives and friends are invited to call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Friday October 30, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM & 7:00 - 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday October 31, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Interment, Sandy Lake Cemetery, Lakehurst. Reception to follow at the Lakehurst Hall.
