Obituary of Iveah Mabel McGilp

McGILP: Iveah Mabel (nee Armstrong) June 19, 1922- January 13, 2016 Passed away peacefully at Extendicare – Lakefield in her 94th year on Wednesday January 13, 2016. Iveah is loved and missed by her sons Rory Petticrew (Charlene) of Lakefield and Darcy Petticrew (Sharada) of Ireland. Also missed by her stepdaughters Susan Johnson (John) of England, Sylvian Hetesi (Gary) of London, Valerie McGilp-Gallivan (Jim) of Ottawa and Nadine Gallivan of London. Loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her first husband Captain D.F.C. “Gus” Petticrew and her second husband Angus McGilp. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Iveah’s Life will take place at the Marshland Centre on Wednesday May 11, 2016 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Diabetes Association as expressions of sympathy.
