Obituary of Jeanne Winnifred Thompson

THOMPSON, Jeanne Winnifred (nee Parker) Peacefully at Royal Gardens, Peterborough in her 89th year. Beloved wife of 48 years of the late Stan Thompson. Loving mother of Barbara Grespan and Debra (Richard) Redmond and “second mom” to Pat (Warren) Wakefield. Cherished “Nan” of Shawn (Sara), Matthew, Patrick (Shannon), Alana (Jack) Ault and Jesse and “Grannan” to Ronan, Logan, Kayleigh, Sam and Scotty Jean. Pre-deceased by her siblings, Betty and Norma and survived by her brother-in-law, Harry Hepburn. Jeanne will be missed by her extended family and her many friends. A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Friday February 12, 2016 at 1:00 PM with visitation to commence at 12:00 PM. Reception to follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. In memory of Jeanne and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Arthritis Society or the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society would be appreciated by the family.
