Obituary of Henri Albert Theriault

THERIAULT: Henri Albert Passed away at the P.R.H.C. on Thursday March 17, 2016. Henri Theriault of Peterborough, Ontario, formerly of Buckhorn and Deerfield, Ontario, in his 96th year. Henri was born in Paquetville, New Brunswick on April 15, 1920. He was a talented artist, dancer, animal lover and a skilled carpenter. Predeceased by his wife Norma on January 16, 2010. Henri is survived by one brother J.P. “Pete” of Courtenay, B.C., and various nieces and nephews. Henri was a Veteran, having served in the Canadian Army overseas with the 1st Division, in 1939. He was wounded in Holland in 1944 and was discharged in 1946. He was the special friend of Jo Pillon and will be dearly missed by friends Bill & Sue Chapman. He was also a long-standing friend with noted artist the late Clark McDougall of St. Thomas, Ontario. In accordance with Henri’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place.
