Obituary of James "Jim" Daniel Ellis

ELLIS, James Daniel “Jim” Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the P.R.H.C., on Monday April 11, 2016. Jim Ellis of Omemee in his 90th year. Husband of the late Lois Ellis (Pearson) (d. 2006). Dad will always be loved and remembered by Ron (Eithne) of Oshawa and Jan Ellis (Peter Johnson) of Calgary. Beloved Grandpa and Grandpoppy to Kierstyn Spratt (Jamie), David (Stephanie Wan), Rhys and Ellis and great grandpa of William and Sarah. Survived by sister Ida Hay of Norwood, brother Harold Ellis (Joyce) of Havelock and brother-in-law Allan Levere of Marmora. Predeceased by his parents Stan & Edith, sisters Aletha Barrons (Stewart), Freda Barrons (Charles), Lula Kennedy (Murney), Mildred Levere, Lois Caverly (Rae), brother Jack Ellis (Merrial) and brother-in-law Ed Hay. A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Thursday April 14, 2016 at 1:00 PM. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment Lakefield Cemetery.
