Obituary of Roderick James Andrews

ANDREWS, Roderick “Rod” Passed away at Pleasant Meadow Manor, Norwood after a lengthy illness on Saturday July 9, 2016. Rod Andrews of Norwood in his 64th year. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Cruikshank) of nearly 39 years. Loved and missed by his children Amanda Dunkerley (Nick) and Christopher (Laura Cobb-Andrews). Beloved Poppa of Dylan, Donovan and Mason. Also loved by his sisters Christina Wilford (the late Kenny), Lorraine Radford (Paul), and Wylanne Curry (Denton), mother and father-in-law Mae and George Cruikshank, sister-in-law Carol Heayn (Dave) and brother-in-law Jim Cruikshank (Anne). Missed by nieces Andrea (Brad) and Kendra (Ryan) and nephews Bob (Dee), David (Courtney), Kevin, Steven (Sarah) and Jeffrey and by several great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by his parents Betty and Bill Andrews and niece Maryann Archer. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Rod’s Life will be held at the family home, 671 County Road 40, Norwood on Saturday July 30, 2016 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM.
