My deepest sympathy to Junes family. I am a classmate of Junes and because we both were at the beginning of the alphabet we were together during class a lot. I particularly remember during our early months of training when I was sick with mumps June took notes for me as I was away about 10 days. I will never forget that.

Dear Rick & Donna
We were away and now see that you lost June. She was such a wonderful lady. Both your parents had such tremendous ways with people. All the family have been fortunate to have her in your lives, and the whole community was made a better place because of their contributions.
We sure are glad to have known both June and Bob.

Dear Jokinen Clan - we were shocked to hear of your Mom's passing when she was doing so well after the hip surgery. I am sure your head's are spinning and the events of the last few days are still surreal. June was a great wife, Mom, grandmother and friend to many. She will be sorely missed by her Kinette sisters. May all your happy memories and support from your many friends and family help you find peace in the days ahead. My sincere condolences to the Jokinen family on your loss. Due to work commitments I will not be able to attend June’s celebration of life this week, I will be thinking of her and what she meant to me.
June was a wonderful woman and a dear friend to my mom and our family. Bob and June gave much to the community of Bobcaygeon; their time, their knowledge, their kindness and their friendship, to name a few. And for those families who had loss, who had heartbreak, the Jokinen’s were often the first to show up to support you. Her work with The Bobcaygeon Kinettes is a testament to her character and I know that their tight knit ‘Kin family’ is heartbroken.
June was thoughtful and generous and she was also wickedly funny…her dramatic eye rolling never ceased to crack me up. She always took time to write you a kind note (which she never had to sign because her penmanship was legion!), to remember small details of your life and inquire after them and if you got on her ‘nuts n bolts’ list; you spent the rest of the year trying to recreate that magic. Whenever I saw her she had a story or update about one of her family members and her eyes lit up with laughter and happiness as she retold it. She will be sorely missed … and remembered by me with a beer in my hand and a sad attempt at nuts n bolts… love you June.
