For Leona's Family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Leona's passing. My mom and dad (Ruth and Bill Peltz) were very good friends with Leona and Bill for years, and shared many wonderful times with them.
I couldn't have been more than 8 or 10 years old when I first had the pleasure of meeting Leona, and I remember taking an instant liking to her. Leona had a way of seeing the glass as being half full, rather than half empty and was a very positive influence on me when I was growing up. She could always somehow find the humorous side to almost any situation, and that is what made her so much fun to be around for everyone who knew her. Although it has been many years since I have seen her, I will always remember her as being kind, caring99Y and having great inner strength. She was truly a lovely lady.
