My thoughts are with you every moment of every day. You know where I am at any time if you ever need me. Just remember all the good times we all had together. Paul was a prince of a son-in-law, the best anyone could ask for. We had so many fun times together, driving to Florida where he taught me to listen to Country & Western music.
He was so proud of his great boys and I too am so proud of you both for all the loving care you gave him the in the last few months.
Love always,
Nana

Our sincere condolences to the Deflorio family , we have had nothing but fun & fond memories with Paul , from Bobcaygeon to Sanibel Island .
Paul always had a great sense of humour , he kept me laughing every time we would get together , he would greet me with a “ Hey Moe “ which would always put a smile on face .
Every time we come up to visit Jamie & Sue , Paul would be there also, and welcome us with open arms , that, s what we will miss , he can never be replaced , this is very sad news .
Sincerely
Scott & Karen Alexander

Brother Bear
We have been through so much together over our 60 plus years, through good and bad we always came out on the good side. This is just one I cannot comprehend and I can't come to your help. IF only I could. You are the world to me and you will always be in my thoughts. I've heard the same things from the countless amount of great friends you and I have. I will look after the boys for you any way I can. My pleasure. Have a cold one for me, say hi to Marg, Mom and Dad, Audrey and everyone else taken too soon. Miss you all tooooo much
Love Big Brother

We are so deeply saddened by this loss. Uncle Paul has been a huge part of my life since I was born. The memories are endless and grand. Always waiting for a "bear" hug and kisses when he saw me. As of late, loving and accepting my children. They brought huge smiles to his face always.
He was a man i held very close to my heart and was extremely loved by all of us. Our hearts are very heavy, but we will remember him always. Definetly one of a kind!
Thinking of you all during this devastating time. Love you guys!

Trevor and Nicholas: Many years ago, your dad was doing an excavation on our property. We had young boys at the time who watched him all day long, and your dad at the end of the day said they could play in the excavator after he was gone home for the night. The next morning, with a coffee in one hand and a screwdriver in the other, your dad hot wired the tractor to start her up. Who needs keys?
Our boys in playing around the night before had inadvertently moved the gears into drive. In one second, the tractor lurched forward and began its way towards the hole which was less than 2 metres away. In record speed your dad scrambled up and over and managed to stop the excavator from going into the hole with less than a foot to spare. Not a drop of coffee was spilled. You could hear him laughing a mile away. He was a great guy and we will think of him often. Our sincere condolences to the two of you. Dave and Michele Farris

Trevor and Nicholas:
We would like to offer our most sincere condolences on the loss of your father, known to so many of us as "Bear". Your Dad was a one-of-a-kind! We have so many memories of fabulous weekends spent up at the cottage with him and your dear Mom, Margaret. He and I were horseshoe partners in the long-weekend tournament in 1981 - when I was 8 months pregnant - it certainly wasn't my throws that advanced us to the finals (since one of my shoes ended up in the tree!). Bear loved to laugh and enjoyed his friends and family; and we all loved him. He'll forever be in our hearts.
Sorry we won't be at the funeral on Friday - but you'll be in our thoughts.
