I am very sorry for your loss. Sgt.Metro was a great supervisor on my shift back in the late 80's.
I remember being detailed to maintain a closure of the Gardiner Expressway by myself all night while working in Traffic. Although Sgt. Metrow was not my supervisor, at the time. He brought me a coffee and a Boston Creme donut in the wee morning hours, to give me a boost and help keep me awake.
You have left us much too soon sir.
