Obituary of Donald Maxwell Farquhar

FARQUHAR: Donald Maxwell (WWII Veteran) Passed away at Fairhaven home on Monday February 13, 2017. Don Farquhar of Peterborough, formerly of Lakefield in his 93rd year. Loving husband of the late Evelyn Jeffery (1986) and the late Grace (2009). Dear father of the late Dave (Winifred) of Hiawatha and Bob of Omemee. Grandpa will be remembered by Stephen, Wendy, Michael, Laura, Maureen and Jeffrey and by his great grandchildren Britney, Em, Waverly, Korbin, Michalea, Rowan, Allen, and Jacob. Survived by his nieces Kerrilynn, and Terrilynn. Predeceased by his sister Isobel Macneil and niece Sherrylyn. A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, on Thursday February 16, 2017 at 12:00 PM. Visitation to commence one hour prior. A Legion service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 AM. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow at the R.C.L. Branch #77, Lakefield. Memorial donations to Fairhaven Home, or R.C.L.
