Janet and Family,
So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He sharpened our blades at the sawmill for many years and got to be a good friend and buddy to all. Always willing to share his knowledge of sharpening, I know he will be missed by many. Take care and God bless during this difficult time. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Dave and Margaret.

To the Swanson Family,
I extend my sympathies and prayers to all of the family. I am friends with Jerry, the son of James.Although I was not granted the opportunity to have known James personally, I do know what he meant to his family.Jerry often spoke of his parents, always with admiration. I remember last Fathers Day how Jerry went to Farmers Market to get his dad the Best Apple Pie he could find. I know how much Jerry and Jim looked forward to the ritual of watching Nascar and GrandPrix races Every Sunday. Jerry explained to me how his father "pioneered" the building of the home on Bessie Ave. even from a different province, and he met this task with determination. And even well into Retirement Jim kept all the arenas with a great skating platform by keeping the zambonis blades sharp.
I know Mr.Swanson is going to be missed very much. Only time can heal the emptiness and shock of this injury taking such an ambitious man. Peace be with the family.
Sincerely,
Jan Evans p.s. If you need anything, run errands, whatever don't hesitate 705-731-6268
