We only knew Floyd for about 4 years, (in retirement in "The Creek", but became good friends with he and Willow. We worked together on the road association committee. He was dedicated to making life better for all here, and worked tirelessly towards accomplishing the goal of replacing our worn out bridge. He was a peacemaker, sympathetic listener, and had a terrific sense of humour. He never got rattled, no matter how tense discussions may have gotten in our very local politics. He was a very calming influence to other members of the committee when necessary and always kept a very level head.
We will miss him tremendously. Rest in Peace Floyd.
