I was sorry to hear of Diane passing. I went to school and graduated with her at OCAD! I was one a transfer student from the states and she was one of the oldest students, she took me under her wing and we became instand friends up to graduation where everyone goes there separate ways. I will cherish my memories of my school mate always smiling and ever so pationate about art in all it's forms and wanting to learn all the time! My heart felt condolence to her whole family.

We knew your lovely, brilliant, cheerful, joyful and lively mother from her years in Ajax, Ontario.

I loved Diane so much and am honoured that I had the opportunity to spend some time with her in this life. She would always be encouraging to her friends to expand their thinking and try new things. I will miss her enthusiasm and sense of humor, and her booming laugh. I always loved our conversations particularly about art and creativity in relation to spirituality and we would get so excited about it and inspired. She loved the Faith and especially working with the youth in our community, with whom she felt a special connection. My sympathies to the family for your loss of this loving bright light in your life.

Sending our deepest sympathy from our family. We have a lot of great memorys of your mother. She was great fun to be with and a fabulous cook. What she turned out on that old wood stove up north was amazing.

My mother said I had bad behaviour when I was a teenager so she was sending me with Diane to teach me a lesson. If I wouldn't listen to her, I'd listen to Diane, she'd teach me not to be a mouthy teenager!
Diane picked me up and took me to China town. We went to some shady restaurant and I was kinda scared, but she said the food was amazing. We sat at a huge table just the two of us. She ordered and when the food came, it was delicious!
We laughed almost the whole time, and I went home thinking I was smart and that we had only had fun, no lessons in behaviour.
Looking back I realize she did teach me something, but she taught me it in a way that was full of laughter..she knew what she was doing. She was such a unique person, there's only one Diane. I'm sure wherever she is, she's got someone laughing.
