Passed away quietly at Pinecrest Nursing Home on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, in his 81st year.  Loving husband and best friend to Ruth for almost 59 years.  Dear father to Elaine (Howard) and Ian (Sandi).  Dear grandfather to Katie and Emma, his pride and joy!  Many, many thanks to the staff at Pinecrest Nursing Home for their wonderful care and  compassion.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 3, 2017 at 2:00PM at TRINITY UNITED CHURCH, 44 William St., Bobcaygeon, Ontario with a visitation to commence one hour prior. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kawartha Lakes Alzheimer's Society or Trinity United Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
