Over the years I worked with Ray at the Trent-Severn Waterway he was always helpful, kindly, knowledgeable, and willing. He sought to "get the job done" and seemed to know just what would be needed. His years of experience gave him an insight into water management that comes only from "on the job training". I was sorry to have missed his memorial, only learning of his passing recently.
My deep condolences to all his family.
