Passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital on June 17, 2017. Donald Shain in his 102nd year. Loving husband of the late Velda (nee. Cryderman). Beloved father of Jo-Anne Conners, and the late Kenneth Shain. Cherished grandfather of Kristine (Shawn) Dos Santos, Katherine (David) Moss, and Kevin (Tina) Conners. Great-grandfather of Brett, Emma, Blake, Jude, and Annie. Special friend to Margaret Holmes, and her daughter Anne Johnson. A celebration of life will take place on Wednesday June 21, 2017 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM with a legion service to take place at 2:00PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #239 in Bobcaygeon, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Trillium Gift of Life Network.
