HERON: Janet Elizabeth “Jan”

Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C. on Saturday July 1, 2017.  Jan Heron of Warsaw, at the age of 73 years.  Jan will be remembered by the many students, parents and faculty that she worked with over her long teaching career including many years at Warsaw Public School teaching Grade 1.  Jan is predeceased by her husband Joe and her daughter Shelley.  Dear mother of Triscia Carlow (Ray) and loving Nanny of Jack and Kathryn.  Remembered by her son-in-law Ron Foskett and sister-in-law Anne Revoy (Gord).  Beloved sister of Dianne and Mark.  Aunt Janet will be missed by several nieces and nephews.  Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield, on Wednesday July 5, 2017 from 6-9 PM.  A funeral service will be held in the Hendren Chapel on Thursday July 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM.  A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home.  A private family interment will follow at a later date.  Memorial donations may be made to the Five Counties Children’s Centre or Hospice Peterborough as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
