Obituary of James Lyle Walton

Passed away peacefully, in his 72nd year, surrounded by loving family at the P.R.H.C. on Saturday July 22, 2017. Jim was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather “Papa”, life guard, Lions member, mechanic, angler and hunter. Survived by his loving wife of 50 years Darlene (nee Welsh). Cherished father of Lee (Sue), and Terry (Paula). Remembered by his adored grandchildren Lauren, Lukas, Keegan and Ainsley. Survived by his sister Linda Dixon (Walter), sister-in-law Dale Welsh, brother-in-law Shawn Welsh (Lisa) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Laverne and Nora (nee Myers) and sister-in-law Donna Dorion (Cliff). A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 6:00-9:00 PM. Memories will be shared by the family at 8 p.m. Many thanks to I.C.U. nurses who cared for Jim and a special thanks to Dr. Jamie Brown.
