Obituary of Richard William Leeper

Dick entered peacefully into his eternal rest at Fairhaven Nursing Home, Peterborough, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday September 23, 2017. Dick Leeper in his 89th year has now gone to join the love of his life Violet, his wife for 66 years. Dick loved his family and always held them close to his heart. Dick had a passion for gardening and the farm. Most adored and special dad by his children Dave (Rhonda), Doug (Lori), Deb Davis (Jeff), and Dan (Christine). Cherished grandpa to Jaime (Warren), Todd (Shannon), Tyler (Dayna), Kristin (Kevin), Jake (Hillary), Matt (Charlene), Carly (John), Hayden, Griffin, and Madison. Great grandpa to Ashton, Quinton, Ella, Jack, Leighton, Breylyn, Ezra, Brady, and Ezekiel. Predeceased by his parents Roy and Edna Leeper, and his siblings Stanley, Anna, and Jim. Friends and relatives are invited to call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield, on Wednesday September 27, 2017 from 3:30 - 5:30 PM & 7:00 - 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Hendren Chapel on Thursday September 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home.
