Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Sunday, October 8, 2017. Marion Sweeney of Douro in her 75th year. Marion was predeceased by her husband of 40 years James “Jim” Sweeney. She will be missed by her siblings Annie (Peter), Sadie (Bill), Jimmy (June), Ronald (Maxine), Mark (Cathy), Hazel (Tony), Eric (Pat), Gary, and Sharon. Marion will be remembered by her special friend Clare Seeney. Marion will also be missed by her many step children, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Marion’s Life will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES – LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:00 AM.  A reception will follow at the funeral home.
