I'll never forget the long walks or feeding the birds i'll never forget the green peas I always hid from you and I'll especially never forget how contagious your smile was to anyone you came in contact with .
I'm not sure which was harder , saying goodbye , or writing this . But all that matters is you're resting in peace and no pain . When you passed , my heart broke , but a part of me also left when you did .
I'm not going to stand at you're grave and cry , because I know you're not there , you're the heavy wind that blows , the sparkle on the snow , the stars that shine at night .
Death changes everything.. but time changes nothing , I miss the sound of you're voice , the words of wisdom you gave me ,the story's of you're life , I miss the long walks and your stale bread and green peas .
So NO , time changes nothing , I miss you as much right now , then yesterday when you were getting into a well deserved long sleep .
YOU did it nana , you lived a long , happy , successful life , with many by you're side every step of the way . You will always me missed , but don't worry , I'll still talk to you , because In my eyes you're always with me . Until we meet again nana , rest in peace . Xoxo
