HUNTER: Lewis Alexander “Alex”

Entered into rest at the P.R.H.C. on Tuesday November 21, 2017.  Alex Hunter of Lakefield in his 98th year.  He leaves his wife Marjorie, one stepdaughter Nancy Ingram (Brian) and two stepsons Brent “Bert” and Mark Ingram.  Also survived by 8 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.  Son of the late Wellington Hunter and Mabel Nichols and brother of the late Robert (Ferne).  Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Monday November 27, 2017 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM.  A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday November 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM.  A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home.  Interment Lakefield Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to the Five Counties Children’s Centre Foundation or the Memorial Fund of Lakefield United Church as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
