WILL BE MISSED
TO THE WAGNER FAMILY FROM THE HICKEY FAMILY OUR CONDOLENCES TO THE PASSING OF A GREAT MAN. HENRY ALWAYS BROUGHT A SMILE TO YOUR FACE. A MAN ALWAYS WILLING TO PASS HIS KNOWLEDGE DOWN TO OTHERS. IT WAS ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO BUMP INTO HENRY WHILE FISHING, HE ALWAYS WOULD SAY BETTER IN THE FRYING PAN THEN IN THE LAKE!

To Deanna, Sheila, Sean and Families and Friends:
There are people who make a difference in their communities just by living there, enjoying their home and loving the people around them. Henry was one of those guys-- a great husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and friend. He was (in my memory) a kind and loving person with a good sense of humour and a great laugh. He had a great many friends for a great many years and our family, as well as many other families who have lived or been part of the Apsley community have been blessed to know him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Sincerely, Norma (Preston) Heemskerk for the Preston family

Dear Deanna, Sheila, Sean and families;
I could go on for pages about how we feel about Henry - a first class gentleman with a kind and generous heart. Our little church will never be the same without him, and we will certainly miss our "pew pal".
On a personal note, I can never thank him and Deanna for all their support with my first diagnosis of cancer - they helped so much with the unknown. And they were here again with this second cancer diagnosis offering encouragement and support. My last talk with Henry just before he went to hospital he told me to be strong and battle on, even though he knew his journey was almost run. I will miss you my dear friend.
God has you in His keeping, but we will have you in our hearts. May peaceful rest be yours.
Our deepest condolences. Kathy and Garry
